During this period, maximum seizure of more than Rs 37 crore has been made in Churu district alone.

Chief Electoral Officer Shri Praveen Gupta said that since the Model Code of Conduct came into effect in the state, illegal cash, drugs, liquor, precious metals and freebies etc. worth Rs 784.73 crore have been seized. Has been confiscated. During this period, different enforcement agencies have seized items worth more than Rs 30 crore in 7 districts. Till now, maximum seizures have been made in Churu district, which include items worth Rs 37.06 crore.

According to Gupta, illegal items worth Rs 36.48 crore, Rs 36.35 crore, Rs 34.03 crore, Rs 33.41 crore, Rs 30.17 crore and Rs 30.02 crore were recovered from various places in Pali, Dungarpur, Dausa, Udaipur, Jhunjhunu and Ganganagar districts from March 16 to April 20 respectively. Cash amount has been seized. In the same sequence, items worth more than Rs 20 crore have also been seized in Bhilwara, Barmer, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Chittorgarh, Bikaner, Alwar, Banswara, Nagaur, Hanumangarh, Tonk, Pratapgarh and Rajsamand districts.

The Chief Electoral Officer said that the seized material included illicit cash worth Rs 38.23 crore, narcotics worth more than Rs 83.37 crore and illicit liquor worth more than Rs 37.73 crore. Besides, precious metals like gold and silver worth about Rs 42.82 crore, other materials worth about Rs 582 crore and freebies worth more than Rs 74 lakh have also been seized.
