On Friday, the body of a 24-year-old youth was found hanging on a fan in Kayastha Pada locality of Bari Kotwali police station area. The family informed the local police about the incident. Police reached the spot, inspected the spot and called the FSL team from Bharatpur and started investigating the case by collecting evidence from the spot. The elder brother of the deceased has filed a criminal case of murder against the accused named in the case.
In the case registered at Kotwali police station, Monu Koli, elder brother of deceased 24-year-old Saurabh, son of Ramkhiladi, said that Rameshwar and Deepak were having an old dispute with deceased Saurabh regarding money transactions. Due to this, Rameshwar and Deepak forcibly took Saurabh from the house and took him to a deserted place, beat him up, killed him and threw him in the house and went away. When the accused brought Saurabh to the house, there was no one in the house at that time.
Later, when the wife came and looked, Saurabh was found hanging from the noose. The family members informed the Kotwali police station about the incident. The police reached the spot and collected relevant evidence. Injury marks were also found on the body of the deceased. Investigating officer Sub Inspector Harveer Singh said that Saurabh died under suspicious circumstances. However, after getting the post-mortem of the deceased done by the Medical Board, the body has been handed over to the relatives for last rites.
Police entangled in the mystery of murder or suicide
At present the Kotwali police station is confused about whether Saurabh has committed suicide or whether he has been murdered. FSL team was called to the spot and a detailed investigation was conducted. Police have also collected evidence related to the incident from the spot. To properly investigate the cause of death, the police have also conducted post-mortem by the medical board, but at present the matter is complicated. The matter will be revealed only after research.
